On 13 August 1918, U117 with Kpt/Lt Droscher torpedoed the American tanker
Frederick R. Kellogg loaded with 7500 barrels of crude oil. She sank in 4 minutes

and settled in 30 meters of water. Seven men lost their lives. She was later raised and sailed for many years.

How should this event be classified? SUNK? DAMAGED? SUNK-REFLOATED? Other?
