Hi mates,
on May 16th, 1918 UB 64 (v. Schrader) had an encounter with an unknown (British?) submarine but which one...
Here's the extract from the KTB.
The sub was spotted at 7,000 metres and was closing the range. UB 64 opend fire, The sub dived. Soon after a periscope was spotted at 800 metres. UB 64 avoided the attack by altering course and dropping a scuttling charge (used as depth charge!). The unknown sub didn't make any further attack.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thank's
