Belgian ‘navy - gunners’ 1914 – 1918.

Hello,

I am looking for information about a Belgian “sea-trainee” born in 1987 and in general, about his promotion-colleagues, who was (where) formed as “navy -gunner” in 1917 (sorry, I don’t know where) and then embarked on board of cargo-ships and even Decoy-ships (Q-ships).

Does anybody have info about this kind of training and/or “career” in that time ? Any tip would help and be much appreciated. Many thanks.
