ROMEO was indeed sunk on February 6, 1917 by UB 22, which sank the RUBERT(GY 463) and ADELAIDE (GY604) on the same day.
Give me a week, and I should be able to get you a scan UB 22's war diary describing the sinking. There should also be a statement at TNA from the trawler's skipper about the sinking.
