Dear Mr. Barnes,

I have recently discovered that my grandfather, William Henry Cross, served on HMS Lorna and that he was mentioned in despatches in relation to 'Action with Enemy Submarines'. I don't know whether the incident Clint McInnes reports was the relevant action or not but it is nice to think it might be.

Is there any possibility that you could email me a photograph of the brass plate? I would be very grateful.
