Hello,
just wanted to point out that the above named vessel
[uboat.net]
was swedish, not norwegian. Here's a bit more info:
Built 1870 (don't know where though), 81 grt, 67 nrt
Home port: Halmstad
Route: Varberg (Sweden) -> Blyth
Cargo: 136 tons of bookchocks
Crew: Master G. Wilander and four men
Position: 56 10N, 2 18E
No casualties, the crew were transferred to the danish steamer F. M. Werner and taken to her destination, i.e. Tynemouth.
Two days before the vessel was sunk she had been stopped by another german submarine (which one ?) in position 56 48N, 5 24E. On that occasion she was let go.
Best regards,
Jan-Olof
