Let's just say the site admin is a bit complicated. Each ship hit has its own admin page as does each incident. Some information (name, tonnage, flag, type of vessel) is on both types of pages but it need not be the same. Certain public pages take a piece of data from what's entered on the ship admin page, others from what's on the incident admin page.
1817 appears to be the correct tonnage when sunk. The figure was higher earlier in the ship's history.
