There's no point in contacting Dwight. He got out of WWI U-boat research several ago. I know this as I bought nine rolls of KTBs on microfilm film from him.

I do have U 22's KTB and have previously scanned in the pages at issue. That U 22 sank U 7 is absolutely clear. In fact, U 22's KTB says so. It also clearly states that U 22 did radio after that it had sunk U 7. The time of the sinking was about 9:15am (German time). U 22 returned to Emden that afternoon.

Can send you a copy of the scans if you want. The U 22's KTB is handwritten, and hard to make out in parts.
