I am looking for information on the disappearance of SS Hector which disappeared on passage from Swansea to San Sebastian on 14 November 1914. She was operated by J&P Hutchison of Glasgow. Hector was a steel screw vessel of 508 tons built in 1898 by the Irvine Shipbuilding and Engineering Company of Irvine. Its master was Captain John Maclean of Stornoway; he was one of 13 crew.

Any information welcome.
