Well, the KTB for sure...

Although I can't make out every letter in the bad microfiche copy from BAMA (I will check the original later), everything's clear:

Evening of March 26th, 1918, in Smalls area, chased an supposed steamer, which changed course from North to South (rather unusall for an "steamer", but confirmed by the logbook of PC 51 which of course was on patrol duty!). During the attack PC 51 changed course again, Kiesewetter saw it to be an small (narrow) vessel, than he was observed, the vessel turned to ram, UC 56 dived and received 3 depth-charges near the boat.

The actual position of this attack was 51°48'N-05°52'W (Milford auxiliary patrol report) and time was 20:55h (logbook PC 51)

Will give you the full text from UC 56's KTB after I saw the original KTB (hopefully early February).

:-)
