I'm writing about the U7, which was accidentally sunk by the U22. The circumstances are interesting enough that I think I can do something fun with it; a "secret history" sort of story.
The reason I was asking was because I misread my notes and got confused about the number of casualities and thought there were too many listed to belong to the date the sub was sunk. I know there was one survivor from the accident and thought maybe he was included on the list.
The original list on ubootwaffe.net actually listed more than 24 people (24 being the number of casualties) and I assumed they included the survivor as well as additional people who had served previously on that boat but had not been on its final voyage.
I haven't been able to figure out who the survivor was or what his position was on the boat (though I can extrapolate who he wasn't based on the crew list), but because I'll be using him as the view point character it's probably better that he's fictionalized.
