I have the name of the SS Dora Captain during the incident with submarine UC 65. I also have a photograph of what I believe to be the Dora off Nefyn Point in the early 1900's as it was steaming for Porthdinllaen. Porthdinllaen was one of Dora's stopping points between Liverpool and Aberdovey.
I am from Nefyn originally and I am in the process of writing a brief article about the SS Dora for a website. I am looking for a close up photo of the Dora and a photo of its crew that I can use (with appropriate permissions and no copyright issues) in the article.
I have not been able access the photos of the Dora and crew that you have listed according to your last corresponence. Could you please let me know the exact website they are listed on. Thank you.
