Yes, it is. My source is the book of the Admiral F.Favre "La Marina nella Grande Guerra" Gaspari Ed. 2008 pag.302. The Italian Navy studied the submarine because he had not this tipe of U boot minelayer and built another two class X (403-468 ton.) with 6 tubes for mine and 2 for torpedoes,1 gun Armstrong da 76/30 mm, that enter in service in 1918 and remained in service until 1946.Greetings from Trieste
