The Lusitania Resource suggests that the U-20's chief engine room artificer, Freidrich Sellmer was the first person to sight the Lusitania. I don't know where that information comes from. There is a Sellmer listed - presumably the same person - as a Maschinist serving under Otto Droscher when the U-20 is first commissioned from 05.08.13 to 15.10.13. Another name that crops up in the forum discussion is Carl Leschhorn.Thanks again for any further names or information.
