<HTML>Evening All,
Just a quick one to report on progress so far. My Sec. has come up with two or three billets which are not to far from East Float where the Historic Ships are, only one has a bar and a restaurant. The one in question is the Central
Hotel in Clifton Crescent on the Sth/East of Birkenhead Park.
The Rates are:- Single Room Bed/Breakfast £40 to £42.50 GB£
Double or Twin bed room Bed/Breakfast £49.50 to £54.50 per room. We are waiting for further info from Birkenhead Tourism Dept on some other options. With respect to the Central, if we decide on it, for those travelling alone the possibility of sharing a twin bedded room would be the cheapest option but it depends on you the crew to make the choice. I shall have further gen after I have been down to the office(Town Hall) on Monday morning.
Don't forget to polish your gongs tonight it's Trafalgar Day tomorrow,so it will be Church Parade followed by lots of sippers.
Sandy Bottoms to you All
