Thank you for your reply. Like Ken, I am a bit surprised at news of a crisis, being also an FTU myself and having heard nothing direct from the Archiv; though it has to be said the Archiv are not renowned for letter-writing. They don`t seem to have been prevented from publishing their `yearbook`, which I have just received (- and very interesting it is too ! For those who haven`t yet seen it, it`s `What Britain knew and wanted to know about U-boats`, ed. Jak Mallmann Showell.) Or is it the publication of this (nicely produced in soft-back, over 100 pages) that has caused the present financial problem ?

I`m sure many others are as concerned as I am that the Archiv should have a secure future; but unless and until plans for the future are forthcoming we are all rather in the dark.
