<HTML>Crew,
I will be telephoning the museum on Tuesday afternoon to ascertain the date, time and so forth. My RV time still stands at 11am - which gives us good light and the opportunity to take what photos we want, plus a chance to sort ourselves out on 534 etc!
The current list of honorable members of this forum who are keen on coming is as follows:
Chris Lee.
Tom Iwanski.
Ted Agar and his delightful wife, Janice.
Terry Andrews.
James Stewart.
'Northernjohn'
Myself and my partner, Emilie.
Now, have I forgotten or expected anyone I shouldn't? If I have, e-mail me direct.
So, you have until Monday night 29th October to get sorted. After that, I will book the number I have. I am sure that the museum wouldn't mind +1 or - 1 but let's make the effort!
Ted's idea of a billet for those wanting to stay over is The Central Hotel on +44 (0) 151-647 6347. UK dialers drop the +44 and add the 0!
You are responsible for making your own arrangements, payments etc.
We will meet outside the museum at 10.30am local, aiming to start in at 11am.
If this is sorted, when I get the confirmation I suggest you e-mail your mobile numbers to me and I'd like to have a volunteer to nominate themselves ( one of the staying over chaps who will be at Birkenhead ) as Communications Officer! That means, if anyone gets stuck, we will have one number to contact.
Phew! Hope this works!
BTW chaps and so forth, you'll need an overall / coverall for the U-534 interior tour!
Aye,
John</HTML>
