Just a point of interest, my Great-Grandfather served on HMS Invincible during the Falkland Islands Battle and later was one of a handfull of survivors from the warship when she was lost at Jutland. I have an old photo from 1915 taken onboard Invincible and it shows all the "Aberdeen Lads" who were members of her crew in that year.I also have an A3 size print of a painting depicting the Falkland Islands Battle my Great Grandfather rescued from the stricken cruiser prior to it blowing up.There is no frame now, that rotted away years ago.Given its age the print is still in good nick.I`m selling it shortly,so if anyone is interested in WW1
stuff, pass the word around.
