<HTML>Hi all
I´ve been having a look (again) to the book "U-Boats of World War Two" Volume I by Robert C. Stern.(Arms and Armour Press, Warships Illustrated No 13)
Despite I owned it long time ago, today noticed something new for me.
The author stated that the II was the only one the u-boat types in which torpedo
loading were made backwards:
Page 21 photo 34 (U-59)
"Torpedos were loaded into "Einbaüme" tail-first (as opposed to nose-first
for all other types)"
Is that correct?
Best regards
BTW
Do anyone know whether Volume II of this title is already available?</HTML>
