Another Rohwer Convoy mystery

<HTML>According to Lloyd's War Losses the British steamer Bronte was sunk by a submarine (U34) on October 27, 1939. She was according to the same source sailing from Liverpool to Rosario. The point of departure/destination suggests that she was in an outbound convoy, but Rohwer claims that she was part of HX.5, an eastbound convoy. This seems incorrect. Any comments.
