Convoy CD20

This is another of my longshots:

Firstly, Convoy CD20 (Cape Town-Durban) was attacked by U-177 (Robert Gysae) while west of Cape Agulhas on the 28th May 1943. A Royal Navy tug was travelling in attendance as a recue ship. What was her name? Two Indian Navy minesweepers were also present. Anybody know their names and types. Photos?

Secondly, how many ships were sunk off the US coast during the war? I know that this may be difficult due to geographics.

Last one. I have asked this before, but are the U-boat patrol logs available in English. If so, at what price?
