Info request for help on captured German U--Boat

<HTML>Dear Gentlemen,
I have been attempting to obtain any information on captured German U-Boat during WWII. I have no information where this ship was captured or dates.
I remember the U-Boat being brought to the northern end of the city by the Navy and it was placed there as an exhibit for the city




At this time I was about 8 yrs old living in Bremerton, Washington . Over my years I have thought back about this ship and wondered about it often. I have contacted the City Chamber Commerce in hope of being to find any available information . The ship is no longer there I am told. I don't have any information as to Name, numbers or anything much at all about her. I would like to find what I can about this to include the information with a model which I intend to build of the ship.
I would appreciate any information you have in reference to this ship if you can help. Thank You Kindly.
