She is I-503, ex-German UIT-24, ex italian Marcelo Class submarine Comandante Capellini .

"She was captured by the Japanese at Sabang, where she has
just arrived from Bordeaux on 10 September 1943.The Japanese
ceded her to the Germanm Navy which re-designated her UIT-24
and re-armed her with a 4in (102mm)deck gun.In May 1945, she was incorporated in the Japanese Navy as I-503.
Found by the Americans at Kobe, she was scrapped the following year."
