<HTML>After my last post, I had to double check on the displacement Mr. Topp was likely speaking of. Most US nuclear subs seemed to run in the 5000 to 8000 ton range, but the Ohio Class (Trident) Nuclear Ballistic Missile Submarine (SSBN) did indeed run in at around 18,000 tons. This makes this one about 24 times the displacement of a Type VIIC...!!! Quite a difference!
