"U338 was experimentally fitted with a very unusual suite of Flak weapons before
she went on operations.Together with whatever weapons were mounted aft of the bridge, she had a small bandstand added to the front of the tower for a twin 2cm MG151.
This gun had the advantage of being very small and thus easy to fit into odd locations such as this, but it was also ineffective and was thus never widely adopted.(SFL)"
