<HTML>The U-735 had just returned to Horten after a training mission in the Oslofjord.
She sailed acording to standing orders to sea when the airraid alarm sounded, and fought on the surface due to lack of compressed air (unable to dive). During this she was struck by bombs and sunk. 1 crewmember survived the sinking, but 9 were on leave ashore.
