<HTML>Warrents come from the Enlisted system , Warrents are specialized, thay are not Senior Enlisted. thay had only a Warrent commission ,not a full commission . This has been changed , to fully commissioned only resently. In far too many cases ,Warrents were dispised by both Officers and Enlisted, The Officers disliked them, because thay did not hold a full commission , so there for thay were not real Officers, the Enlisted disliked them , because thay were not Enlisted , thay carried the title Officer. Various positions shipboard , are Officer positions , evon though Enlisted men ,man thouse positions. Clear as muddy water !!!!!!!!</HTML>
