You could be correct. Yet, our RADAR operator was able to detect the thing, but it was so small that it couldn't be identified as a vessel per se. Someone said that that particular Gerry Sub was very fortunate indeed. If the truth be known, we were pretty lucky as well, else we could have ripped off the bottom plates from our bow and locked in an inextricable embrace, we could both have ended up at the bottom of the Channel.
