This ship being one of four sunk by U 124, Empire Dell, Cristales and Llanover being the others, Llanovers survivors being rescued by the convoy rescue ship Bury while the Empire Dell and Cristales survivors were rescued by HMCS Shediac. However the name of the ship that rescued the whole crew from MP remains unclear. Of the other escorts HMCS Algoma, Bittersweet and Arvida they saved none, which leaves the two USN ships Spencer and Gleaves, the limited info I have on these two is unhelpful, as anyone got info on the details of these two USN ships on the ONs92 convoy?
