Deck gun help U-196 ?

I understand at some point in the war deck guns were removed and could only be fitted by special permission to their captains.

Can anyone help me identify if U-196 had a deck gun in 1944 please ?
Does anyone know the calibre ?
Surely it would be a 105mm ?
