I wondered about the galley hatch, but I thought that it opened out onto the main deck, on the decking planks.I have seen photos of the cook sat outside this hatch.
the photo I have has the hatch on the vertical surface of the conning tower.Could it be different on various types i.e xi &vii?
I will scan and send photos a soon as possible.
