Hi all,
I was just curious, how much fuel would a IXD2 or any IX boat take on if they were to refuel from a typ XIV supply boat? Are these statistics even known?
Second, why where IXC boats sent for Operation Monsun, operations to the indian ocean, requiring 2 refuels to get to there destination, when the type IXD2 had twice the range of the IXC, only requiring one hazards refueling at sea? Would'nt his make more sense, to risk the 'milk cows' one less time?
thanks,
Paul
