I agree completely. I have finally found the Evadne in lenton & Colledge's "Warships of World War II." She is listed as an antisubmarine yacht of 581 tons (Thames measurement, whatever that might be) and was launched in 1931. She was returned to her owners in January, 1945. Pennant: FY.009 Armament would have been depth charges plus some guns, one or two 12pders being common for this "type" of vessel.
