A great book on the technical (especially) side of the development of the U-boat from pre WW1 to post WW2, but obviously mainly on the WW2 era. If the technical/modelling side is of interest to you then this is really a 'must have' book. Unfortunately I wish it would go into even more minute detail but then it would really be a hefty book indeed.
Great drawings, great photographs (especially of sections of U-boats in shipyards etc) and a very good narrative.
Best thing to do is spend some time in a bookshop looking before spending your $ £ Dosh buying...
