U-Boat Base 211

<HTML>While using the hotbot search engine for sub info recently I came across a rather obscure reference to a \"U-Boat Base 211 in the Antarctic\". Does anyone on uboat.net know anything about such a u-boat base? Is this a hoax or not? Since u-boats were not nearly as heavy or reinforced as modern nuclear subs (for breaking thru ice caps of up to 10 feet), and since u-boats were dependent on air for their diesels, such a u-boat base in the Antarctic seems highly implausible to me. Also, since when did u-boat bases have a numerical number? I never ran across such a designation before. I would appreciate clarification from anyone on the net.
