Hi Guys,

I am new to this site so if I have put this in the wrong place then I apologise in advance.

I was looking at the propellor from UC - 39 in a local museum (I believe it was salvaged to help identify the wreck when it was first found) and it seems to act like a nameplate with various things stamped into it, can anyone help shed some light on what the various things mean? I have put my best guess in brackets after each thing, any help would be greatly appreciated!!

B&V. (Company who manufactured the boat?)
D. 1290 (Depth rating in feet?)
Steig. 1080 (??)
Projiz.Fläche 0,392m2 (Displacement?)
Propeller Bronze
B.B.Schiffsschr. 4C. (???)
U.C.39
VFRKLFINERT 15.12.16 (Date of completion? Unsure about the code?)
D.1260 (???)

Thankyou!!
