On December 25th 1942 the submarine P48 was depth charged and properly sunk/lost off the Gulf of Tunis. My Uncle was Sub Lt Michael Orton and was aboard the P48. I have been researching in detail his navy service but more seriously his last boat the P48. I have found a relative of crew member Ernest Dudgon and musician Thomas Dolby has too, an Uncle, Lt Spring Rice serving on the P48. I would love to find more relatives of the crew with stories etc. I have a full crew list and any information/details on the other members, gathered with permission, and 'maybe' put in to print by a respected UK War author I know, pending on volume of information, this to honour their memory and bravery and tell their story. A full/part crew photo would an amazing addition to see. Thank you.
