<HTML>Anders,
I note that in Britain\'s Sea War by John M. Young the spelling of the tug\'s
name is slightly different.
The entry for Nov 10 1944 reads -
Off Iceland, U-300 sank the tanker Shirvan, 6017t, (Baltic Trading Co.),
bound for Hvalfjord, and the tug Empire Wold, 269t, (MOWT) on Admiralty
Service.
Is this a spelling error ? World or Wold ?
Regards,
Bill
