<HTML>No No No, an uboatcrewmember never had his Soldbuch with him on a Feindfahrt, it was always left behind at the base. It was forbidden to take it with him during a warpatrol.

Also Fighterpilots were not allowed to have their Soldbuch with them on a flight.
Although some of them did.
