Questions for U-Boat experts:
Question: How much drinking water did a U-Boat carry?
Question: How long did drinking water it last on average?
Question: Did they carry a hose to take aboard fresh water?
Question: Did U-Boats have a anchor system, anchor bow and stern?
As for U-Boats calling in on the Gower or Pembrokeshire for fresh water, now looks deffinately more a \'folk tales\' then real fact. Thanks to you experts at U-Boat Forum for sorting this one out.
