I believe the story of the U-995 emblem is told by Hans-Georg Hess in the book \"U-boat Adventures; by Melanie Wiggins\". I got this book from my family for Chrismas and I too just remembered reading the story. I don\'t have the book in my hand, but I think that I\'m correct in saying that the emblem story is in there.
