<HTML>Hi Ken,
This doesn´t add up, according to Wynn´s "German U-Boat Ops in WWII" the boat couldn´t have been U-995, also the agent Beetle who was landed in Sep. 1943 was Peter Thomsen, according to my sources an Icelandic photographer who had studied at the UHF in Stettin since 1938. He spent time in British captivity for two months before returning to Iceland in Dec. 1943 as the double-agent ´Beetle´. I´ll have to talk to a buddy of mine to see where he gets his source on this Thomsen guy.
Regards,
Pat</HTML>
