<HTML>Hello To all !
This is not an advertisement for my new web site dedicted strictly to Draeger Tauchretters worn by German U-Boat crewmen . I am writing to my fellow U-Boat forum members to ask if anyone owns a tauchretter or parts of one to send me a picture of it . I would like this site to be a form of registry for all known tauchretters left in existance . If you do own a tauchretter or have taken a picture of one in a museum while on vacation etc. I would like to post it on my humble little web site for all to see . Everyone that contributes will be given full picture credit .
The aim of this site is to show the collector and anyone interested in submarine escape gear what the tauchretter and it's individual parts look like . Whenever possible I will show real WWII issue parts with known fakes and post war parts so a potential buyer can make a well informed decision before loosing some hard earned money .
I just started this site so it is still growing and much work still needs to be done but if you are interested here is the web address ; [joe-tauchretter.tripod.com];
