Hello Gentlemen,

For anyone interested in attending, there will be another memorial ceremony at the national cemetery at Fort Devens in Ayer, Massachusetts honoring the German and Italian POWs buried there this coming Saturday, October 17, 2015 starting at 11:00 AM. This year marks the 70 anniversary of the end of the war, and of Commander Steinhoff's untimely death (back on May 19th). There will be a band and a wreath laying ceremony with flowers for all the graves. This will likely be the last such ceremony of its kind at Fort Devens. I hope to be there with our friend, Naval Airship expert, Fred Morin. The cemetery is on Patton road on the base. Please attend if you can make it.
