like i said,,,werner and me,,are friend,,with one of my messages,,i help him to find some crewman of hmcs victoriaville,, and werner are verry happy ,yes the victo and esquimau,,send deep charge against u 190,,making it to surrender,,near halifax,,i send some rare pic of u 190 here,,never see in the web,,

Pierre, I sent Christine my address and copied you in.
You remember that I asked you for the names of the officers of HMCS
Victoriaville on the picture that you sent me. Well, after an interview
of mine appeared in the National Post on June 15, I received a message
from a Lt. Burbidge, wo was the officer in charge when U-190 was boarded
by a team from HMCS Victoriaville in the middle of the Atlantic in
1945. I had had no contact with Burbidge until that message from him.
It was a very pleasant surprise. I then sent him that picture of the
officers you had sent me and he promptly identified four of the officers
on that photo, including his own. So, you see, you provided me with a
very valuable addition to my photo album. Thanks again.
