For the ss GANDIA sunk on 22.1.1942 by U 135 Belgian sources give torpedoed in pos 42°45'N-53°00'W (conning tower: 45°00'N-41°00'W)
Also 65 dead including Capt Maurice Potié
4 survivors were rescued by the Portuguese trawler JOAO CORTE REAL and landed at Oporto on 26.2.1942 (!!)
10 other survivors were rescued by destroyer USS BERNADOU (DD 153) and landed at Reykjavik.
Total crew: 79 (coning tower: 88) Can a reader confirm what is correct ?
