<HTML>Hi Visje
Thank you for your infos about the Dutch ships. :-) They are very useful.
140 dutch ships were sunk or damaged during WWII by u-boats.
13 of them between September 1939 and May 1940
07 Oct, 1939 Binnendijk hit a mine laid by U-26 and sank on 10 Oct
17 Nov, 1939 Sliedrecht torpedoed and sunk by U-28 northwest of Ireland
07 Dec, 1939 Tajandoen torpedoed and sunk by U-47 south of Ireland
15 Jan, 1940 Arendskerk torpedoed and sunk by U-44 in the Bay of Biscay
05 Feb, 1940 Ceronia torpedoed and damaged by U-41 in the Bay of Biscay
10 Feb, 1940 Burgerdijk torpedoed and sunk by U-48 in the Bay of Biscay
15 Feb, 1940 Den Haag torpedoed and sunk by U-48 in the Bay of Biscay
18 Feb, 1940 Ameland torpedoed and sunk by U-10 after leaving Rotterdam
21 Feb, 1940 Tara torpedoed and sunk by U-50 off Portugal
02 Mar, 1940 Rijnstroom torpedoed and sunk by U-17 in the North Sea
05 Mar, 1940 Grutto torpedoed and sunk by U-17 in the North Sea
07 Mar, 1940 Vecht torpedoed and sunk by U-14 in the North Sea
11 Mar, 1940 Eulota torpedoed and sunk by U-28 in the Bay of Biscay
How many of them were sunk according the prize rules?
And I\'m almost sure they were not identified as neutral ships before they were attacked.
Regards
