Aah! My birthday present

I am going to announce that my girlfriend - who, whilst not sharing my love of things nautical and U-boats in particular - took me out today to buy me my birthday present.What a pleasant change from my ex-wife of amny years ago who thought my hobbies and interests were \'strange\'!

I have just had:

Wolfpack - U-boats At War 1939 - 1945 by Philip Kaplan and Jack Currie.

U-Boats at War - Landings on Hostile Shores by Jak P. Mallmann Showell.

German U-Boat crews 1914 - 45 by Gordon Williamson with illustrations by Darko Pavlovic.

(Sighs contentedly)

The bookshop we used in Oxford was Borders and they carry an impressive Military section, with an excellent Naval history section. There are many, many books I have cast my eye over today which wiill be added to the collection....

...pity I can\'t have a birthday a month!n Am I lucky or what?

And no, I am not admitting how old I am!
