I \'ve asked this question some time ago about the future on this
U-boat- U-534.? The Trust, I believe have no plans to restore her
to her former war-time condition. She will be left AS IS.!?
But her conning tower was retored..!

Athough, the boat has been treated to stop any further rust to her
steel structure. The boat is really a wreck inside and nothing at
all of real value, except scrap metal. She was only a U-boat which
her crew sailed in with so many others just going to war at sea and
so many of them did not return with their crews. Sad but true!
