The video you watched last evening sounds suspiciously like something entitled \"U-Boats. Terror On Our Shores\" which was produced in 1988 or thereabouts. My first visit to Hardegen\'s home occurred in 1987 and this video screened shortly thereafter. All the chief characters appear: Hardegen, his First Officer, one of the U-123 crew (a little fellow with a squeaky voice), Michael Gannon, Ernest J. King

Some months ago I sent you a manuscript and a photo of seven men on a life raft. Did that photo appear several times in last night\'s show? Also, was the closing scene of a wrecked submarine done in color? With many fish swimming around? And an American, at that? Probably the USS TARPON!

Only one difference at this point. The 1988(?) version was not a National Geographic production.
